I’m Alessandro Didiano, a veterinarian registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, with over ten years of clinical experience. I’m Italian — and the name Sereno reflects something I believe deeply about this work. Sereno means calm, clear, peaceful. It’s the feeling I want every family to carry with them after a visit.
I’ve performed many home euthanasias across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties. Every enquiry is handled personally by me, via text or email to start with. If you’d prefer to speak directly, I’m always happy to arrange a call once we’ve been in touch.

Aftercare options

Home burial
You may choose to bury your pet at home. We can advise on what is needed. There is no additional charge for this option.

Arrange AFTERCARE yourself
We can provide recommendations for local pet cremation services that you can contact directly. The cremation fee is paid by you directly to the crematorium, with no additional charges from us. Alternatively, you may bring your pet to your vet, who can organise the cremation on your behalf (please contact them in advance if you wish to use this option.

We arrange cremation for you
We coordinate directly with our cremation partner, who will collect your pet from your home (and return the ashes to you, if you wish). A £ 30 administration fee applies, plus the cremation cost.
We know this is a stressful, emotional time and we are here to support you throughout the entire process, from the very beginning to the final end.
